Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a cohost of the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and in 2016. Bolduan has also reported from Washington DC, she has reported on both the US House as well as the Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported on the legislative cycle and congressional events such as negotiations to increase the limit on federal debt and super committee deliberations. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent for general assignments. She has covered stories such as Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision regarding Obamacare. She also covered the government's stimulus programs in 2009. In 2007 she joined CNN as a national correspondent for CNN Newsource.
