Bellamy Young
Young's acting career started with theater. Her Broadway debut on Broadway in the year 1997 as Mary The Life's first member of the cast of The Life. In addition, she has played off-Broadway on Stephen Sondheim's Musical Merrily We're Rolling Along (1994) as well as Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). The actress made her debut on television in 1995, playing the character Dr. Courtney Evans. She was a part of Law & Order as a guest in two parts in 1997 and in 1998. In 1999 she made her film debut in a tiny character in the crime-drama Black and White and later she co-starred in various independent films. In the early 2000s, she started appearing as a guest star on a range of dramas on TV and comedy shows, such as The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young has appeared on over 30 TV shows between 2000 and 2011. Young was one of the regular actors on Peacemakers which was a USA Network television series that began airing in 2003. After the show ran for nine episodes in a season, the series ended up being cancelled. She was a recurring character on the Lifetime show For the People, a show that focuses on the law. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs as the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs in the role of Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) and ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). The actress also played a part in Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons from 2011 until 2013.
